A Glimpse Into the Future...

Yesterday was so amazing. I had my first ever 4D ultrasound and I cannot begin to put into words how great it was. It was so exciting and emotional. I was grinning from ear to ear and sobbing the entire time! Chad, who is usually rather quiet in situations like this, was such a chatter box! He and I agreed that it was worth every penny!
She was hiding initially but after a few strong nudges on my stomach and me changing positions, she came out and showed off her sweet face. We can certainly tell that she has the trademark Wilkes nose and lips that both of the boys have. I guess I lose out again on having a child that truly looks like me!!! Some people think Cambell does, but he still has a lot of strong Wilkes genes in him and a few weak ones from me! And well, let's just say we all know that Parker is a 100% mini-Chad!
Now that we had this done, I am even more excited about meeting my baby girl!!!! Everything else was good at the appointment. I measured normal, my blood pressure was 98/52, and I have gained 18 pounds. I will go back in 3 weeks and on that visit I will schedule my c-section. Say a prayer that we are able to get it scheduled with my doctor-he goes on vacation the day I turn 39 weeks! uuuggghhhh!

Lee, she really is beautiful. And I have to say from those pictures, that she looks like the boys. But that's okay because she has got 2 cute big brothers!!! I cannot wait for mine now. It's scheduled for next Friday at 1100!!

Lee, don't feel bad. Grace looks just like Christian and Christian is a mini me of Jason!! I, too, have failed to have a child look like me. But that is okay b/c these little princesses of ours will grow up to look like us one day I'm sure of it. I looked like my dad until my adult years, now I'm spitting image of my mother.
