Miss Kim has been sharing pictures with the parents via email and it is great to see the fun they are all having. They have been making crafts for the letter they are on for the day and eating a snack that relates to the letter. Today they had ice cream! It doesn't get any better than that! I hope the rest of the year is like this!

K-5 Update
We have survived the first 2 weeks of K-5!!! Parker is really enjoying school and seems to slowly be adjusting to the longer days and schedule. After one horrific day with homework and some new ground rules, he is completing his homework without a fuss. He has spent some time by the fence during recess and has lost a few balls (their reward system), but overall he is doing good. He says recess and center time are his favorites. Miss Kim told me last week that "Parker gets hungry..." and I assumed this was just before time to come home since they eat lunch at 10:30 and don't get out until 2:00-WRONG! My child starts getting hungry at 8:30 in the morning!! I swear I feed him breakfast! He is hungry 24/7 these days! It must be all those brain cells he is using at school! I have increased his breakfast, give him more than enough for lunch at school, and the boy still wants to eat another meal when school gets out! He is going to eat me out of the house soon!
