'Tis the Season

In the spirit of completely catching up on my blog, get in the Christmas spirit! Ha! We decorated our tree right at Thanksgiving because we had Lewis and Caroline's wedding the next weekend and I like to enjoy my tree for as long as possible. When I say we decorated the tree, I mean Cambell and I decorated the tree! Parker and Chad were hunting and Addie Grace was napping. Chad has the duty of getting the tree in the stand and getting the boxes in and out of the attic. After that, he assumes the following position....

And he does it well...

Mommy's Little Helper

Of course, I saved out Parker's ornaments for him so he could hang them once he got home. We all have our special ornaments and I love letting the kids hang theirs.

Addie Grace was SO excited by all the "purties". She is kissing an ornament here.

"OH Mommy!! MICKEY MOUSE!"

Cambell took a liking to one of the "ornaments". It is more like a stuffed animal that bends. He carried it everywhere for about 2 days. Then Zoe took over and it became a chew toy! The boys had their own tree too but it didn't get put up until a few days later. I think I have pictures of it, somewhere!
