Big Girl Bed!

We finally took the plunge! We converted Addie Grace's crib into a toddler bed this week. I know you are probably thinking "it's about time, she's almost 3, right?". Well, yes she is almost 3 but she has been doing perfectly fine in her crib, and to be quite honest, we didn't want to rock the boat. She had only tried to climb out of her crib once about a year ago and I caught her in the act so that put a quick stop to that. I started talking to her a week or two ago about getting a big girl bed. She was beaming with excitement when we talked about it so I knew it was time. According to Addie Grace Daddy "cut her crib off" with his tools. She has shocked and amazed me with how great she did making the transition. She has not tried to get up even once! Yippeee! She's always been a fantastic sleeper but I was so nervous this would spoil things. When she woke up this morning she called out, "I wanna get up now!" and waited on me to come get her out of her bed! We are on our 4th night and it's going great!
