Halloween Party!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! I have been SO busy at work this month that I have had no time to update the blog. This is the first weeknight in 3 weeks that I have not done paperwork for 2 hours once the kids go to bed! We had a great time this year for Halloween. Since we couldn't go to Melissa's neighborhood this year (she now lives in Memphis!) we decided to have a a party at our house. It was just our family but the kids (and adults) had a great time.

We had all sorts of activities for them. We grilled hot dogs, roasted marshmallows, made smores, had sack races, bobbed for apples, and busted a pinata. Oh, and let's not forget trick-or-treating! We spaced chairs around our yard and let them go from person to person and get their bags filled with candy. Unfortunately my camera batteries died at the start of the sack races and didn't charge back up until after the pinata busting. I was so frustrated! A big thanks to Nanny Pat-Pat for the great pinata-the kids loved it!

I'm not sure yet but this may be an annual event for us for the next few years! There are a ton of pictures and I couldn't choose so here they are!

We had a surprise witch show up at the party! My mom had this great witch costume on when she got there. I had no clue she was dressing up! Cambell was scared of her at first!

Cheyene the cute pumpkin!

BATGIRL! (LOGAN)

Granny and Poppy with their the grand kids

(minus Brianna and Bryson and plus Austin the ninja turtle!)

I decided at the very last minute to get into the spirit and dressed up like a cat!

The Wilkes Family

Parker takes a crash during the sack race!

Somebody was cheating with their hands!!!

These two were worn out!!

Parker's favorite part to roasting marshmallows was

catching them on fire and blowing them out!
