We celebrated Parker's actual birthday at the house with family and cooked hot dogs and hamburgers. Parker is somewhat obsessed with The Incredible Hulk so this was the theme for the night! He actually loves the old (original) Hulk that came on TV when I was a kid. He has been watching it with his Poppy for months and is obsessed with roaring and growling at you when he is in character! I actually ordered him one of the seasons off of Ebay as part of his gift-he couldn't have been happier!
His second obsession is Tony Hawk...this comes from his older cousin Bryson! He wanted a skateboard, but ONLY a Tony Hawk skateboard. My mom accommodated and I feel sure we will be in the urgent care or ER one day before the summer is out because of this wonderful new toy! He was so excited. We have established a rule that he can only ride on his tummy or his bottom in the house...we have yet to venture out of the house with it so we are safe for now!
We also gave him some new baseball gear for his coaches pitch season. He got a new bat and we took his helmet and had his name and some cool looking baseballs painted on it. As always, the boy has too much!!! It's hard not to spoil them on their special days though!
