Parker's Birthday Party

It's hard to believe my big boy has turned FIVE!!!! Parker's actual birthday was April 9th and we celebrated with a fun party at Young's Chef's Academy the weekend before. Parker enjoyed himself and needless to say LOVED being the center of attention! The kids were able to pour and measure, make real pizza dough, decorate their own cupcakes (with as much icing/sprinkles they could stand) and eat their masterpieces.

Parker is thrilled to be five and his mommy is still in shock that five years have gone by since I first became a mom!!! He is my strong-willed and stubborn child one minute and the next he is loving and sweet. He has a typical love/hate relationship with his brother. They play wonderful together for a while and wouldn't think of not being together and then 5 minutes later they are tattle-tailing and hitting! He still loves to play with my hair (which I also enjoy that special time with him) and he has taught Cambell to enjoy the same. His daddy is his favorite person in the entire world. He wants to do any and everything that daddy does...drink what he drinks, wear the same color or shoes, pick the same food, etc...it is cute and frustrating at the same time! He is playing coaches pitch this year and seems to love it so far. He is finishing up K4 soon and has really had a great year at school. I can't begin to say what a true joy he is to us. My life has never been the same since the moment I laid eyes on him. I count my blessings everyday that God chose me to be his mommy!!

Parker helps prepare the dough

Did I mention my boys LOVE a baby! Poor Elliot had them all over her!

Chad and Marty got to help the younger ones-I think they had as much fun as the kids!

Logan made a heart shaped pizza!

Decorating the cupcakes!!!

Another silly face!

Ta-dah! Cambell has finished his masterpiece!

Finger-licking good!!!

Connor's cupcake was a work of art-he had more sprinkles than I thought a cupcake could hold!

Taylor shows off her finished pizza

A favorite time for any five year old-gifts!

Happy Birthday, Parker! You're right, 5 years flies by with little ones. And to think you're almost done with the last member of your precious family. You must be about to pop by now. Can't wait to meet her next week!
