My baby girl turned ONE on April 23rd! I can hardly believe a year has passed since she made our family complete. We celebrated with cake and ice cream at our house with close friends and family. A big thanks to all who came to share in her special day!!! We were threatened by rain but were lucky that it held off for the party. Unfortunately, Chad ended up having to work 12 hours the day of the party and missed the entire thing! He and I both were very disappointed but I tried to take lots of pictures and videoed it so he could see her dig into her cake and her presents. She got lots of baby dolls which she is in love with and we gave her an antique cradle which was perfect for all the new babies!!
She liked her cake but did not dive into like I thought she would. She mostly wanted me to feed it to her! She probably enjoyed the ice cream as much as the cake. It is one of her new favorites! It was such a great day and as I look back on the pictures I just feel SO blessed to have such a great family!

Oh goodness Lee, what are we going to do with our divas? Grace didn't dig into her cake like I thought she would either. She ate the fondant flowers off her cake and that was it!!! I even tried taking her hand and smashing it into the cake and she yanked her hand away from me like I had just burned her!!! LOL
