Today was Cambell's first day of school and he had a fantastic day! He said that he loved EVERYTHING about school and that it was "Awesome!". I am so happy that he had such a great day! He has Miss Peggy, Miss Laura Leigh, and Miss Anita this year. He had Miss Laura Leigh and Miss Anita last year so he is in heaven!
His day is quite long for him compared to last year but it did not seem to bother him one bit! His actual school schedule is 8:30-12:00 but he will be in daycare a little before 8:00 when I take Parker and we decided to let him stay in daycare until 2:00 when Parker gets out to make it easier to pick them up together. The great thing is that he gets to stay in his class from 12-2 and have lunch and his rest/nap time. He napped today which sort of surprised me. I figured he would be so wired with the newness of it all that he wouldn't sleep but he did! I am looking forward to another great year! I am so thankful that my kids are at REL!
I took him to Hardee's before school started...can you tell he was excited?!?
He had an egg biscuit!
Just before walking in the door...he was getting a little nervous and his shyness was starting to emerge. He had to give me about 10 hugs before I could leave but no tears were shed (by either of us) and he went on and started playing once I left!
