McLeod Farms

Cambell's K-4 Class went on a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at McLeod Farms in October. My mom was gracious enough to go with him and take Addie Grace too! I hated to miss it but it just was not possible for me to make this one with my work schedule but I don't think I was missed :). Let me explain...before going, we pay for each child's pumpkin so when they get there they can choose any pumpkin they want from the field and there is no hassle. If parents want to get any additional pumpkins then you do have to go pay when you are leaving. I assumed Cambell would return home with his one pumpkin that I had paid for and with lots of stories about what a fun time he had. Well, as I mentioned, Sue-Sue went with him. Need I say more??? He returned with 6, yes 6, pumpkins!! And a pumpkin for her at her house, so 7 in all! We had 3 regular pumpkins, one pumpkin with Mickey Mouse painted on it, one with #1 Teacher painted on it, and one with the SC flag emblem painted on it. Now do you see why I wasn't missed? Ha! I am glad they had fun! We ended up painting our 3 pumpkins on Halloween Eve and the others are still on display!
