Parker's 7th Birthday Celebration

It's hard to believe that my first born child is now seven. Where has the time gone?? He is such a joy to our lives, each and every day. Here are just a few special things about my big boy:

* Has made Scholar Roll (straight A's) every 9 weeks this year.
* Loves all things athletic, most especially baseball.
* Loves his baby sister to death. Seriously, it is pretty amazing.
* Still wants to be just like his daddy...which I think is the best person he could want to be like.
* Loves the Lord and can pray like a preacher! We often call him Preacher Parker.
* Is FULL of energy 24/7!
* Still wakes up with the chickens...see above statement.
* Has asthma but is doing pretty well with it and not letting it stop him one bit.
* Is showing very strong signs that he is gonna be like his mama...very Type A. He needs to know what we are doing, when we are doing it, and everything in between on a daily basis.
* Loves to pick on his brother but would be lost without him.
* Loves all things outdoors...hunting, fishing, playing in the dirt, it really does not matter.
* Hit his 1st inside the park home run this week!
* Does not meet a stranger.
* Has learned Mommy and Daddy's cell phone numbers and is not afraid to call to check on us. See Type A comment.
* Loves to dance and shake his booty.
* Has a girlfriend. **Sigh**
* Is loved beyond measure.

Instead of a traditional birthday party, Parker chose to go to the USC baseball game this year. I am so glad he did because it was fantastic! We were treated like VIP's! They had a place reserved for his party and Cocky made a special visit with us. The weather was great and USC won so we could not have asked for a better day!

This is Mr. Bill. He came up to us as soon as we got there and started talking to Parker. To be honest, at first I was a little skeptical about this old man who was all up in our business. Shame on me. He wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday and then pulled out his wallet. I figured he was going to give Parker a dollar and be on his way. Sweet, right? Wrong. He was pulling out his wallet and gave Parker $20! Over the moon sweet! The guy that was helping us with the party said that Mr. Bill is at every game and is always looking out for the little ones. He said, "He's a pretty amazing guy." I would say I have to agree!

We had to buy her a hat because the sun was so bright and she wouldn't open her eyes!

Addie Grace was not impressed with Cocky!

Cocky took Cambell's hat and is wearing it in the picture. They had a blast!

THE Jackie Bradley, Jr! He was SO nice!! Signed shirts, balls, hats, etc and talked with each and every kid that wanted to see him!

Hunter & Parker. Parker got to take one friend with him (in addition to all the family that went)!
