This was the question posed to me during lunch today. Of course, with Easter around the corner Parker is learning a lot about the death and resurrection. He's been learning at Cubbies, in Sunday School, and at home. While we were getting ready for church this morning, Parker asked to go to church with Sue-Sue so I let him and Cambell and I went to our church (Chad's working). Anyway, they did a neat little thing with the palms for Palm Sunday and Parker came home waving his palm saying, "Hosanna, Hosanna!". It was precious.
During lunch we were talking about what he learned at church and were "reviewing" how Jesus died on the cross and was buried and 3 days later was risen. We've been learning about this being called 'resurrection' so he begins to understand. Parker was asking who killed Jesus. My mom answered him and mentioned the Roman Soldiers...after about 10 seconds Parker says, "Did Whit kill Jesus?"...referring to my brother who is a Major in the Army!! I was talking in circles trying to explain this one! When will this get easier????

God love him! Such a sweet curious little boy. Gotta love these teaching moments. I am so sorry I did not get to see you saturday. The weather was so bad here and we had tornado warnings all day.
I love it, "Did Whit kill Jesus?" Kids say the best things. I love your blog. Cambell is for sure a Jones, he looks so much like you and I think Whit. Parker must be his Daddy. They are both adorable. We need to stop by and see you guys and the new house sometime when we come to see Russ's dad. He lives near Darlington but we go right past your Mom and Tommy's house everytime we go.
