A lesson about heaven...

As told by a 3 year old! Parker recently gave a lesson about heaven to his Granny and I wanted to share. Their dog Lucky died last week and Parker and Cambell were at the house that day. When Parker went to sleep for his nap Lucky was still alive (but very sick). Lucky apparently died while Parker was taking his nap. When he woke up he immediately asked if he could go check on him and Granny told him that he was dead and was in doggy heaven and was so much better off (i.e. lesson about death, heaven, suffering, etc...). Well once the lesson was complete, Parker asked if he could go see Lucky. Granny agreed and walked outside to where he was. Parker looked around a few minutes and looked at his Granny and said, "Granny, Lucky is NOT in heaven silly...heaven is up there (pointing to sky) and he is still RIGHT HERE!" So much for the "lesson"!!! Maybe one day we'll get it right!
