My child is the poster child for Mikey-the kid who eats ANYTHING. These pictures are from
him eating a raw onion. Let me explain because I do not ordinarily feed my child raw onions...I was making a roast and adding the carrots/potatoes/onions. I ate the last carrot as I put them in the pot and Cambell saw me. He began begging for a carrot and I didn't have any that weren't covered in the juice from the roast. Begin Fit. I began cutting up the onion and his fit persisted. I decided to use this as a "teaching moment" by giving him the raw onion, hoping he would realize that he cannot throw a fit and then happily get what he wants. It backfired. He ate the whole thing while shaking his head "no". (this is his response to something he isn't sure about, but still eats). He even asked for more! The second fit began when all the onions were gone!! He even eats beets, pickled cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, etc, etc...He definitely eats like his daddy because Parker and I are the picky eaters in the family. He is very fondly referred to as "Mikey" at mealtime!

Too cute!
Everytime I check out your pics of the boys, I can't believe how much Cambell looks like you...the last pic of him crying is identical...wow. So how was his breath that night after the onions? I love the hearing the stories and teaching moments...
Love, Apryl Hathaway
