Making progress-FINALLY!

Many have been asking so I thought I would share our progress on the house. It is FINALLY coming along! They finished the roof about 2 weeks ago and started with the sheetrock the very next day. This week they have been working on the trim work, crown molding, chair railing, cabinets, and columns. They are supposed to start painting next week then floors to follow. We are really getting excited to watch it finally coming together. It is strange how it changes as they do something very minor. We still have to get the counter tops in the kitchen which I am really ready to see!

Parker in the garage. The opening you see on the left is a storage area they added for us that goes under the stairs to the bonus room. It was going to be closed up and wasted space so they made us an opening and are going to put a little door on it. You can never have too much storage!
Our columns we got tooday! These are in our foyer as you walk in the front door. I am so pleased with how they turned out.

It's really looking great, Lee! You kitchen cabinets look very similar to the ones we chose, too. Don't you LOVE them? It takes A LOT of patience when building a house. What's with those allowances anyway? Can anyone ever stay within them? It seems that we are always going over. UGH!! Congratulations! Can't wait to see it finished!
