Parker has worked so hard all year at his Awana program at church and received his award yesterday
. It is such a great program and I am so impressed with how much he has learned this year. Each week they have had a memory verse and a lesson. If they complete the entire book, they receive their "book award" which is a little teddy bear that goes on their uniform for next year. I am so thankful that we got him involved in Awana. He loves going each Sunday. They have finished for the year and will start again in August. The theme for the night was "Hollywood" and Parker enjoyed all the glamour!
The entire time he was on stage Parker was checking out his bear and trying to make it stay on his vest. I tried to tell him I had to sew it on, but he was so focused on the bear!
