Cambell Davis Wilkes

Just an update on Cambell. I feel like so many of my posts lately have been about Parker. He's been such a busy-bee with birthday, four wheeler, cubbies, etc...that I've had so much to post on him but my little Cambell is shining in his own way every day.

His vocabulary is soaring. Just today in Target as we were in the kids clothes he points to every item and identifies it..."baby shirt", "shorts", etc...He is quite the social butterfly as well. As we walk through the grocery store he sticks his hand out at each person and says "HEY!". It sort of takes people by surprise and they all just melt when they see his smile. He is not always this sweet though, there is also the fact that his absolute favorite word in the world in "NO!". He especially likes saying this to his brother! The funniest thing he says now is "MEEEE" in response to questions like, "who stinks?"

He can be so tough too, rarely ever crying if he falls or bumps his head. He's been doing good health-wise until today when he woke from his nap with 103 fever! Ear infection (again!). I apparently had too high expectations about the miracle of tubes b/c this is our 3rd one since December when the tubes were put in! Oh well, it's better so I guess I should be thankful!

He still loves his "yammy" and insists on having "covers" when you put him to bed. He is such a great sleeper too! Will go to bed between 8 and 9 and sleeps till 8 or 9. (this is such a contrast to Parker who gets up with the chickens!). He's still a pretty good napper too. At least one good nap a day, often two.

He and Parker love to play hide and seek nearly every day. Cambell always hides in the same place, of course! His favorite thing in the world right now is any kind of animal. When he sees one riding in the car he screams whatever animal it is until I acknowledge him!!

He is such a joy to us and we are so blessed by his precious smile and contagious laugh!
