A Great Day...

Today was such a special day for us. Although it was a bit late, we had Cambell dedicated today. We put it off for so long for various reasons like everyone being available, work schedules, etc...but we finally were able to do it today. I was quite nervous about how Cambell might react to the attention but he did remarkably well. I just knew he was going to use his favorite word, "NOOOO!", but luckily he didn't. He did, however, give me a little scare. I was holding him on the stage and all of a sudden felt the warm sensation of a full diaper! Yikes! He looks at me and says, "uh oh, tee-tee!". Luckily, our clothes were still dry and he didn't say anything else! With the exception of Parker wallering in the floor and then walking around and checking out the instruments it was a hit! Honestly, I thought Parker was heading for the drums and I was trying to keep my composure and give him 'the look', but he would not look at me! He made a small circle around us and finally came and stood back with us. Whew! What a relief!

It was so nice to hear Pastor Bill share his words of wisdom and his blessing for our family. I feel so blessed to have my healthy boys and my loving husband. I don't think I say it often enough (especially to Chad) but I feel like the luckiest woman in the world.

We had so much support from both of our families and friends. Thank you to everyone who came to share this special time. After church we had lunch at our house and then a little fun in the yard. We just got our water slide this past week and all the kids want to do is go slide! (our old one dry-rotted so they sent us another one!). Lastly, it's nap time for everyone but me!

Notice where Parker is!!!

I had to slide with Cambell and thought I would have a heart attack. I must be getting old because my stomach dropped so bad!

Brianna and Cambell sunning
Chase even has a place to cool off!

This is Cambell refusing to share the bat! I told him to give Brianna a turn hitting the ball and he exclaimed his usual "no!" and then layed down on top of the bat. Unfortunately, all I could do was laugh at him!
