Well with 3 out of 5 in the household running fever this weekend, I am not a fan of the word!! To catch you up, Addie Grace ran "fever" since Friday....I say "fever" because the doctor didn't consider it fever! I am quite relieved and apparently worried about my little girl all weekend for nothing. She got up to 99.8 at times but until 100.4 it is not actually fever, just "fever" to a tired mommy of three!! She is fine, God is good, and I am relieved! She has also gained 8 ounces since Thursday!!! Up to 7 pounds, 12 ounces today. I did change her to a different formula to help with gas but otherwise, all is well.
Now to fever #2: Cambell has (another) ear infection. Right ear. Again. His tubes have come out and we are referred back to the ENT on June 1st to discuss options. YUCK. Cambell will be accompanied by his big brother for this visit to discuss Parker's tonsils and adenoids...BIGGER YUCK! More to come on this.
Fever #3...yours truly. I have run fever on and off since having Addie Grace, just enough to make me feel rotten, never above 100. I also have had a swollen lumpy like place at my incision. I went back to my OB today and he said I have a hematoma that is causing the lump and it will go away with some heat, Tylenol, and most of all time. The fever I have is not infection at this point (I have been on antibiotics for a week)...the fever I have is a result of inflammation/healing process but not infection. What a relief.
So to recap, 3 fevers and the worst of it is an ear infection!!! I am thankful for an ear infection. It's amazing how your mind can wonder to the worst possible scenario with your children and you worry for no reason at all! Counting my blessings!

Sounds like you have your hands full! I hope all of you are feeling better soon! Our ear infection continued on to this week...what fun!
