Happy 6th Birthday Paker!!!

My sweet Parker turned six years old on April 9th! I can hardly believe he is already six and will be in 1st grade next year! I took the day off work and he was on Spring Break so we had a great day! He decided to forgo a "big" party at home with all his friends for a trip to Chuck E Cheese with Cambell, Taylor, and Logan. As we walked up, Kerri was coming in with McCanless and Mary Clare so they joined us too! It was a nice surprise and Parker loved being there!

I mentioned that I can hardly believe he is 6. I can hardly believe he is reading, writing full sentences, and can learn the words to a song in no time! I swear he pays attention to everything-even when you think he isn't! He is an infomercial guru and can tell you what every product on TV is (even though he really doesn't watch that much TV!). He even includes, "must be 18 to order" when he tells you about a product. It cracks me up. He has become so sweet lately. He has always been sweet, don't get me wrong, but previously he struggled with whining a lot and challenged my patience a lot. He has transitioned, almost in the blink of an eye, into a big boy who loves to help others and has a heart for God! It is terrific! He has asked a lot of questions about being saved and knows and believes all the right things to have Jesus in his heart. He prayed with his leaders at Awana a few weeks ago and asked Jesus into his heart. That was a precious conversation to have with his leaders!!! I was so proud of him. He still adores his baby sister and would breathe for her if he could!! He and Cambell still play well together and fight even better together! Ha! He is full swing into baseball right now and he is definitely his father's son. Not only does he look and walk like him, he plays baseball like him too!!! These are good times. I feel so blessed and I love him so much!!!

Auntie, Unkie, Taylor, and Logan are taking him to the USC baseball game next Saturday!! He is SO excited!!
