Our summer has been very simple and sweet this year. We have not gone on a vacation or done anything really spectacular, but we have enjoyed the simplicity of everyday life and the joy that brings! I came across all of these pictures that were actually taken in early June and realized I had never posted them. We spent many days at the ball park in June at Taylor's softball games. Our latest passion is spending every spare moment on the water slide when we get home each day. In fact, tonight it was approaching dark when I drug them all inside and turned the water off! School is just around the corner and along with that comes a tight schedule of bedtimes and bells ringing. So for the next few weeks, we are going to keep enjoying every hour and every minute we can in the sweet simple days of summer.

This picture makes me gasp at the difference in his hair and how much his little boy look has changed!! His short hair is growing on me but he certainly doesn't have this sweet little boy look anymore! :(
