Cambell's Last Game

Another year of baseball has come to an end. It is bitter sweet for me. I love baseball and I love watching my boys play. I love seeing their eyes light up when they hit the ball or make a throw to 1st base. I love the sound of the crack of the bat and washing dirty uniforms. But, I miss my life. I miss my house. I miss my evenings at home. I miss cooking supper for my family. I miss coming home from work and not leaving til the next morning. With two playing ball on different levels and on different teams we have spent at least 4 nights a week at the field(s) and have only had a few meals at home here and there. Bitter. Sweet. Until next year...

Cambell batted last all season and essentially got the feeling of hitting a home run every single time. The last batter gets to run all the way around the bases because they switch after the entire team has batted through. He ran with all his heart and slid into home each and every time.

Cleaning off the plate. He did this every time he got up to bat. Too cute.
