Lazy Summer Days

Chad has been working a lot of Saturdays lately so I've had the kids to myself and we have been making the best of it! We went swimming at Brandi's house while they were at a ball tournament last weekend and it was a beautiful day! I picked up Subway before we went and the kids had a little picnic by the pool and swam the day away.

I didn't get a lot of pictures because I was in the pool most of the time with Addie Grace. She is finally getting warmed up to the pool this year. At first, she held on for dear life and would not even think of "swimming" or jumping off the side. I got her started with jumping to me off the ladder and thought I would never get a break from it! She loved it! She is now taking swimming lessons too like her big brothers!

I worked with Cambell a little bit on the things he learned at swimming lessons the week before. He was a little nervous taking his life jacket off but he did great. AND, just a few short days later I got a text to my phone that showed him swimming all over the pool by himself!!!! YAY! I am so proud of him! Brandi worked with him a little bit and before she knew it, he was taking off! We are still doing the swim lessons so he can get better but I am so thrilled that he can jump off the side and swim to the ladder!!
