A Few Funnies...

*As I said in my last post, I wasn't sure Parker understood that he goes to school every day this year. Last night I told him it was time to clean up and get ready for our bath and bed because it was a school night. He looked at me with the most surprised face and said, "I go to school EVERY day???" I said, "you sure do buddy" and he said, "oh man!"

*Tonight Parker had a page in his folder to color and draw a picture and return to school. I told him to come to the counter to do his "homework". He says, "Mommy, why in the world do you keep giving me all this homework?" We have a long road ahead of us I think!

*Cambell has done so well with the crib to bed transition that I jinxed myself talking about it. He fell out of the bed last night!! The rail to his bed actually broke and he rolled onto the floor. I heard him whining and crying slightly on the monitor so I got up to check on him and found him trying to get comfortable on his rug! I attempted to just put him in the bed with us so Chad could fix the bed today. I thought he was mostly asleep and would do good...when I put him down in our bed he opened his eyes and loudly and clearly said, "MY bed!". So, his bed it was. A drawstring from a pair of shorts rigged the railing temporarily and he was back to sleep! He never ceases to amaze me!
