My Uncle Roy is having heart surgery tomorrow and I would just like to ask that you keep him in your prayers. He has an enlarged heart muscle (and a lot more complicated stuff too) and they will be shaving the muscle of his heart down. It is open heart surgery and he is at Duke. They say he is a very good candidate but it is still a very risky surgery. Please pray for the doctor's wisdom and knowledge and for a steady hand! My aunt and uncle have a very strong faith, but this is difficult for anyone!
On another note, while on the way to be with my aunt and uncle, my mom was in a car accident. The Lord was definitely her passenger...they are pretty sure she totaled her car and walked away with only a very sore body and some bruises. She over-corrected on the interstate and ran head on into the cable in the median. She was caught between the 2nd and 3rd cables and bent the 3rd one, which was kept her on her side of the interstate. We are so thankful she is okay.
