Cleebie's up to something...

I could not let the Christmas season pass without mention of our Elf on the Shelf, Cleebie. He made his "landing" the day after Thanksgiving and was a beloved part of our life until he flies back to the North Pole with Santa on Christmas. I wish I had captured all of Cleebie's landing sites because they were truly fun and interesting! He landed in a variety of places including the blinds, the Christmas Tree, above Cambell while he slept, in the middle of the candy dish (where he ate candy and left wrappers everywhere...), on top of my villages, in Addie Grace's tree, on the towel hook in our bathroom, and on the camel of our manger scene.

This is such a FUN tradition in our house and I love how excited the kids get about him. Mommy and Daddy have to get a little creative sometimes to keep them interested but it is quite worth it. In fact, Cleebie flies in and out of our house through the key hole in the door, he helps feed reindeer in the "off season", and he gives nightly reports to Santa. The children are not allowed to touch him because if they do he will lose his powers and not come back anymore! If you don't have an Elf on the Shelf yet, you have to get one before next Christmas!!
