Many of my patients have been asking me about the kids, and what they were asking for, and how excited they were. Many of them would comment to me that "Christmas is for the children!". I replied to them in this way, "The commercialized part of Christmas is definitely for the children, but the TRUE meaning of Christmas is for all of us." I hope to always be able to celebrate the TRUE meaning with my children!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!
In efforts to help the kids remember the true meaning of Christmas we baked Jesus a birthday cake on Christmas Eve. I let the boys each decorate their own layer however they wanted and make as big of a mess as they wanted! I plan to make this a tradition for them every year. After the cakes were baked and decorated, Chad read the Christmas story from Luke. It was a great way to set the tone of the holiday.
