First Soccer Practice

Parker had his first soccer practice last week. We had no idea what to expect but he really seemed to enjoy it overall. He was in his own world part of the time but then started to catch on to what it was all about. Coach Steve had him on defense and he tried to steal the ball from everyone! He also tried to score while playing defense so he's got some work to do. All was well until he started to get tired and thirsty. During the last 15 minutes he kept looking over and yelling, "how much longer????" Once he got his snack and drink he was good to go! We have another practice tomorrow and I hope he will be just as excited this time as he was for the first practice!

Lesson time to hear the devotional and some of the principles of soccer

Go Logan Go!!

Coach Steve teaching him to throw it in...this had him confused on the "don't touch the ball" rule!

LOL at so "hot and thirsty!" Maybe one day he'll try to come up with excuses to skip out on practice like his mom and I did for basketball.
