Surprise!!!

Happy Birthday Mom!! We had a surprise party for my mom at my house on Friday night. It was not easy to pull off, but we did in fact surprise her which was a huge accomplishment! It was her 65th birthday and Mrs. Jean (her best friend) and I put our heads together and had a nice party with close friends and family. We were scared we may have to cancel because of the weather but almost everyone was still able to make it.

Mom, I hope you had a wonderful birthday. You have done so much for me and I cannot begin to express my appreciation for the daily sacrifices you make and the unconditional love you have always shown me. I hope the party was as fun for you as it was for me. I love you!

This is my mom's sister, Sally, who arrived about 2 minutes AFTER my mom! She gave us all a great laugh rushing in with her cheese ball and saying "surprise!"

The kids had their own little party table...notice the 'fancy' glasses they were allowed to use!

I promise Parker and Cambell both ate about 50 grapes each! I could not keep them out of the fruit tray!
I am so thankful for this picture. Mom and I don't ever take pictures together.
Singing Happy Birthday
She had a little help blowing out the candles!

Somebody had them giggling!

Cake Time!

This is mom and Mrs. Nancy. She and her husband, Ralph, drove from NC for the party. They are such great friends and have always "been there" for each other! They even got to stay the night with my parents.

The cake was from CJ's in Hartsville. Florence now has one too over near the old mall I think. They have the BEST tasting cakes ever and they always decorate them beautifully!
