OK, so I am very late with this seeing as how Addie Grace will be 7 months old in 2 days, BUT here are her stats at her 6 month check up.
Height: 26 3/4 inches
Weight: 17 lbs
Head: 17 inches
The reason for my delay has a little to do with the chaos that has dropped into our lives starting the night after we went to the doctor. Addie Grace woke up with temp 102.5 that night and kept a fever for 4-5 days. Apparently is was just a reaction to her having 4 shots that day! She had 2 "regular" vaccines and 2 flu shots, so she was a pitiful child for several days!
The chaos has continued with Cambell being sick with fever/ears/stomach problems. He has now been diagnosed with C-Diff (infection in his stomach) and we are so delighted to have an answer to why he has had an upset stomach for over 5 weeks! The C-Diff is caused by ongoing antibiotics, which he was on 4 different consecutive antibiotics for his ear, so thus, C-Diff.
Parker ended up with a bad wheezing episode somewhere in the middle of all of this but is now doing good.
Chad is home -for now at least- and we are trying to assume some sort of normal life around here. Things are good. We are blessed and we (i.e. ME) are thinking about maybe, kinda, sorta, getting around to putting up Christmas decorations this weekend!
