Cambell's First Field Trip

Cambell's class went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch in Camden last week. This was his first ever official field trip. The church we went to had a neat set up where they got to decorate a small pumpkin, had story time, went on a hay ride, had time in the pumpkin patch, and then finished the day off with grilled cheese sandwiches for them! Cambell was in a funk for the first 45 minutes we were there. He did not want me to get more than 6 inches away from him-literally. He cried alligator tears when I tried to step away from the group to take a picture! All this is I'm sure coming from Chad being gone so I tried my best to be understanding. In the end, I had to use my powers of threatening to not let him have his candy in order to get him to behave! :)
He was very unsure about riding the bus. First he was, then he wasn't, then he was, etc...He knew I was driving and he had the option to ride with me so he kept changing his mind. In the end, he and I both rode the bus! He LOVED it! I did not love that he rode without a seat belt, but so it goes!

Class of 2023-that sounds crazy!

Hayride

"I WANT MY MOOOOOMMMYYY!"

I had to move over and give him the window seat!

Loving the bus!
