Soccer Awards

Parker had his Upward Soccer Awards Ceremony last weekend. Each player had their name called out and was under the spotlight as they received a high-five and a brand new soccer ball from their coach. Unfortunately during Parker's "spotlight" moment my camera was not cooperating and would not actually take a picture! I did get him as he was coming off stage though.

After the awards, Dan the Animal Man did a great presentation about some amazing animals that are God's wonderful creatures. At the end of the presentation, he allowed all brave soles to come up and take a picture with the alligator. Much to my dismay, Parker was all about it! Cambell was in line but opted out at the last minute. No complaints here! It was a fun night for the whole family!

This is how big our eyes would be if we had eyes as big as an owl (in relation to head size)...pretty cool!
