Home SWEET Home

I am a home body. Always have been, always will be. So being HOME is wonderful on all levels! Dr. Keith came by this morning and honestly, was not overly impressed by her drinking since yesterday afternoon. He chuckled when I tried to fancy it up showing him how much she drank out of a water bottle. But, when he learned she is eating any and everything, he was indeed impressed! I told him she was eating chicken fingers, ranch, fish sticks, fruit loops, etc...and he quickly said, "Well, if she can do that, she is ready!". WOO HOO! Music to our ears! Chad and I were so thrilled for her to be well enough to go home and equally as thrilled to leave the confines of those four walls we have been looking at since Thursday.
So we are home now and the still stubborn princess is swimming in the bath tub. She informed me on the way home that she had a stinky hand, (her IV hand) so she is now taking a dip in the tub to get clean and fresh. She is still being a little difficult with her fluid intake but we feel confident this is only going to get better. It better, after all, the princess is supposed to start 2K on Tuesday! Fun days are ahead!
