Halloween Fun

I am fortunate enough to have a job that allows me to be at nearly all of the kids school functions. It is truly one of the main reasons I chose to go into home health and I wouldn't give a million dollars for it. Most importantly, the kids want me there. I realize that this will soon fade, but for now, they want me there. They get excited when I walk in to start setting up the fun. It makes my day! I have to jump between classes this year since the boys now have parties at exactly the same time. For now I manage to be in charge of one of the classes and slip away to watch the other class. It is a little hectic, but it's the way I want it to be.

For the Halloween Party, Parker's 2nd grade class painted pumpkins. I was so happy to see the kids be excited about this activity. As 2nd graders they don't get to do too many crafty things so I thought this would be fun for them and it surely was. They also had a guessing game of how many M&M's were in a jar and played "Pass the Pumpkin". Cambell's class played "Pass the Pumpkin", Ring Toss on the Witch Hat, and my favorite- digging for goodies in the kettle full of slimy noodles. The kids loved this! These days will fade quickly so I cherish each and every one of them!

Scary Second Grade Vampires! :)
